Tuition
We believe an education at Saint Joseph Academy is a good investment, one you can't afford to miss. Prospective families should note that many people help to underwrite the cost of your child's education as tuition revenues make-up just 65% of the total budget.
The private education offered by Saint Joseph Academy is a great value.
We encourage all families to apply for financial aid if needed.
- One out of three current families receive some sort of financial aid (2009-2010 school year), ranging from $100-$3,000.
- We are committed to working with you and your actual budget--we don't use your household income as a "pass/fail" for aid, but rather consider your current financial commitments and debt to determine eligibility.
- We want to partner with you to provide the educational foundation your child needs; completing a financial aid application is the first step!

Here are some ways to help you pay tuition:
- Join the SJA Scrip Program. Every family can receive tuition credits by purchasing gift certificates (scrip) and using them for your regular shopping. Bottom line: The average family can save $75-150 per quarter on tuition.
- Two working parents can receive a Child Care Tax Credit on tuition for child pre-kindergarten age. For more information check out www.taxesindepth.com/child-care-tax-credit.html
- Many companies will allow you to use pre-tax dollars to pay for child care, and Montessori Children's House tuition does qualify as child care dollars.
