Additional Programs

kids on playgroundBefore and After School Care: Doors open at 7 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. Rates are as follows:
  • Toddler (18 months to 3 years) $4.50 per hour per child.
  • All other students $3.50 per hour per child.
  • Additional children are $3 per hour with a maximum charge of $7.50 per family per hour.
  • All charges will be added monthly to your tuition statement.

Bus Transportation: We contract with a company to provide bus service to interested families in Lenawee County (ages 5 and up can ride). Please pick up an information packet at the school office.

Summer Enrichment Classes in math, science, and language arts are offered for students in grades K-8 in this four-week program. Classes meet daily. Two sessions are offered: 8:30-10 a.m. and 10-11:30 a.m. Open enrollment for any Lenawee County student begins in April. 2008 Registration form.
Summer Camp: This fun-filled 10 week program is designed for children ages 2-10 years old. Campers take trips to the pool, attend baseball games, do crafts, enjoy outdoor play and games. Each day is different and fun. Doors open at 7 a.m. and activities run until 5:30 p.m. Weekly rates. Registration for any Lenawee County child begins in April. 2008 Registration form.
Sports: Fall and spring soccer for students K-8 is offered, as well as golf and karate. Basketball, cheer squad, volleyball, and tennis offered for students grade 5-8.
Kindermusik: This program is part of the Montessori curriculum. Additional classes are offered at both campuses year-round.
After school activities: programs include Yoga (for Montessori and elementary students), Spanish Club, and beginner's piano class (at Siena Heights University).
Drama: SJA students can participate in the acclaimed Youth Drama Program at Siena Heights University throughout the year.

Art & Book Club: A program targeted for students in grades 3-5 started by SJA teachers with a grant from the LISD.
Supervised Study Hall: This after-school program is for students in grades 1-8 wanting quiet study time or help with their assignments. Siena Heights University students supervise the hour-long session.
